Clear, consistent refund terms that apply across every event on Halalbrite.

General Policy
Halalbrite handles all refunds directly. This is a single global policy that applies to every event on the platform — there is no separate refund policy set by individual organisers.
Tickets are generally non-refundable. Refunds are only issued where there is an issue with the event — for example, if it is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed.
Tickets are transferable — if you can no longer attend, you can pass your ticket to someone else.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Event cancelled: you are entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Stripe's payment-processing fees are non-recoverable and are not included in the refund.
Event postponed or materially changed: your ticket remains valid for the new date. If there is a genuine issue with the event and you can't attend, contact us to request a refund.
Transfers: tickets are transferable — you can give yours to a friend or family member if you can no longer attend.
How to Request a Refund
All refunds are handled by the Halalbrite team. To request one:
- Report the event, or contact us through our Contact & Help Centre with the subject "Refunds & Cancellations".
- Reference your booking and explain why you would like a refund.
- The Halalbrite team will review your request. Refunds are only approved where there is a genuine issue with the event.
- If approved, the refund is transferred to your original payment method within 7 working days.
Stripe's payment-processing fees are non-recoverable and are not included in any refund, even an approved one.
Fees on Refunds
Stripe's payment-processing fees are charged by Stripe on the original transaction and are non-recoverable. They are not included in any refund, even where a refund is approved in full.
Any approved refund covers the ticket value only, less these non-recoverable Stripe processing fees.
